Candidates are required to register in the FCC CORES system and receive an FCC Registration Number (FRN) before exam day. More information about pre-test requirements are available from ARRL at https://www.arrl.org/find-an-amateur-radio-license-exam-session
Testing will be on an electronic device (either a Chromebook or iPad). Paper testing is available upon request.
Applicants under 18 years of age pay only $5 for the test. Applicants 13 and under are required to have a parent or guardian with them.
