Sushi Ham Exam Session

• This exam session is primarily intended for students, employees, and alumni of CSUCI but others are welcome.
• The exam location on campus is still being determined (likely Gateway or Shasta Halls on the North end of campus). Parking is available nearby in the campus A3 lot and costs $6.
• Exam fees are waived for minors (max age 17), full-time enrolled students (max age 24) with a current ID, active U.S. military, U.S. veterans, and GLAARG VEs upgrading to Extra.
• We are offering the Technician exam only. However, with sufficient advanced notice, we can arrange to offer the General exam to those who take and pass the Technician and want to attempt to earn the follow-on license level.
• For every exam you attempt, we only ask that you have studied for that element and have been scoring at least 80% on practice tests.
• If you are not 13 years of age or older you may not register for any exam session through HamStudy.org or ExamTools.org until your parent or guardian has filled out our COPPA Parental Consent Form and emailed it to coppa@examtools.org. Please send a courtesy copy to testing@ad4ve.com.

GLAARG Exam Fees $10.

If you qualify for your fee to be waived (minors, full‑time students, active U.S. military, U.S. veterans, and GLAARG VEs upgrading to Extra), Please fill out and submit the Fee Waiver Form

There is now a $35 fee from the FCC to issue a new license. Upgrades will not be charged this fee. You will have 10 days after your application is submitted to log into the ULS and pay the fee, or your license will be declined. These fees are in addition to the GLAARG fees.

A few days before your exam, you will invoiced via PayPal to the email you use to register. It is due on receipt! Please pay to insure your place on the manifest. If you don’t receive an invoice 24 hours before your exam schedule, CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER.

These sessions usually run about 1 hour, which includes time for orientation, taking the exam, grading the exam, and (if you pass) some document signing.
