Please email me if you would like to discuss any accommodations.
These sessions usually run for 1.5 hours. The exam itself, however, is untimed. If the time does not work for you. Please let me know as soon as possible; we can work with you to schedule or reschedule your exam at a convenient time.
There is no fee associated with the licensing exam. However, there will be a $35 fee, which is paid directly to the FCC, to issue a new license; upgrades are not charged a fee. You will have 10 days after your license to log onto the ULS and pay the fee, or you may have your license declined. And, once issued, your license will be valid for 10 year.
Please expect a Zoom link to be sent out before the exam. Please check your spam/junk folder for our email messages and mark them "Not Spam".
We are thrilled that you are interested in Amateur Radio. Feel free to ask us anything about it!
