Welcome to Salem Amateur Radio Club Testing Session!

We're excited you're going to join us and we look forward to meeting you.

Please pre-register using the "Register" button this page. During that process, make sure you get an FRN number. This is an in-person testing session in Salem, Oregon.

Exam Fee is $10

Please pay your fee when you arrive at the testing session. Cash is preferred, and we can take a check or Venmo. Exam fee is waived for minors, veterans, students with ID, active-duty military (Candidates who wish to retake a failed exam pay a $10 retest fee. The waiver applies to the first test.)

Bring your Own Device for Testing

You MUST bring your own device for testing -- laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Note down your PIN number for easy access to testing after you arrive.

After the Test

Your license will be processed electronically and usually takes a few days. Allow up to 14 business days, but it is usually quicker. You'll get an email including instructions to pay your FCC $35 fee (if needed) so check for that email in the days following your test!
