In-person exam at the Woodmont Borough Hall

All applicants must pre-register here to get a unique PIN needed for the exam session, as well as obtain thier FRN (links below).

While the PIN can be obtained at the exam, it helps if you do this beforehand; your FRN, on the otherhand (see below,) MUST be applied for as soon as you can.

Be sure to study for the test and bring:

Legal photo ID

$15.00 test fee (cash or check, made out to WARA )

Your existing amateur radio license (for any who are upgrading)

Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) for any prior testing credits that are not yet reflected by the FCC

Exam candidates are required to register in the FCC CORES system and receive a Federal Registration Number (FRN). The FRN is needed to pre-register and required to take the exam. Bring the FRN with you on exam day.

To obtain an FRN you need to:
