Infomation for the testing session:
- You will need a photo ID.
- The testing cost is $14.00 cash or check.
- We use tablets for the testing session which we have.
- Sign up for the test session using Hamstudy,org.
- If you pass the test, the FCC will send a payment request for $35.00.
- For new licensees, when your new callsign is on the FCC Universal License site, you can start using your license.
- there is no time limit for taking the test.
Hints for taking the test:
- Read the questions carefully and the answers. The details in the question will help identify the correct answer to select.
- Two of the four answer maybe bogus. Now you have a 50/50 chance of getting yhr right answer.
- If three of the answers are correct then the selection is "all of the above"
- If you are not sure of an answer, skip it and come back later. Maybe some of the other questions will help with the one you skipped.
