Wilderness Road Amateur Radio (ARRL VE) Test session
view map
This is an in-person session serving Central and Northern Kentucky, but all welcome with pre-registration. If you feel sick please do not attend, will make alternate arrangements for you to take your test. This session features all electronic grading and paperwork using ExamTools.
Additional Exam information can be found here - http://www.marsstuff.com/html/test_instructions.html
What To Bring:
$15 examination fee (cash preferred) // Photo ID with matching address or piece of mail if the address is different // calculator (no memory, cell phone calculators may not be used). // pencil with eraser or pen if you are the type of person that doesn't make too many mistakes.
One of the largest benefits of this in person session is efficiency. With your electronic registration and grading, your CSCE will be emailed after the session. If you passed, you can begin using your new privileges right away. If you are earning your license for the first time, your paperwork will be sent to ARRL Headquarters electronically on Monday morning, and typically in the FCC database by Monday afternoon. As soon as you appear in the FCC database and have your call sign you are free to operate. No more waiting a week with a paper driven session.
I typically reach out 1 to 2 days before test session to confirm.
Sincerely, Harold Miller, AF6MB Wilderness Road Amateur Radio Club
